Most fishing electronics are screwed or bolted to your boat with brackets. BUT the Unit itself comes with just 2 thumbscrews/knobs to put it on and off the bracket. These thumbscrews are the weakest part in the system for theft deterrent. The "Electronics Lock Mini" replaces these 2 thumbscrews with a bracket that requires a specialty tool to remove! You can now leave your expensive electronics mounted on your boat with peace of mind that they are as secure as the rest of your boat.
